The Race to Race

Clearly, Obama was forced into making the Philadelphia speech by Hillary and the Right-Wing. Ironically though they have said that Obama is trying to make this about race.

Three months ago Sean Hannity was running a campaign against Hillary Clinton called the “Stop Hillary Express.” Beck and Limbaugh were, of course, parroting the same kinds of things.

Now that they have realized what a force Obama is, they are terrified. Listen to how knee-jerk the reactions of the radio cons are. Turn on talk radio and listen to them. It is an insight into the mind of the malignorant.

malignorant? Eric, I am not sure that is quite the right word. I am sure they do plenty of research, that comment sounds just a little bitter to me.

There is actually no such word... I made it up. It's just a hybrid: malignant and ignorant.

I'm encouraging people to listen to them hoping (if anyone cared to follow the advice) that listening to them with a critical mind will turn people away from them.

That's actually not the first time I have heard that combination of words... Maybe its because I am a conservative, but I have listened to him a few times on my way home from school this semester. I have not heard him say anything that is like you are describing. Limbaugh I don't know, I have never listened to him, but I agree with a lot of what Hannity says. I have not heard any knee jerk reactions. Of course they are going to focus on Obama more now that it is looking like Hillary is going to lose the nomination. That's not fear, thats simply looking at the positions for the potential nominee of the democratic party.

I disagree in one respect; they didn't have the fortitude to attack on principle. They are critical of anyone with a (D) and supportive of anyone who has an (R) following their name.

You and I can disagree but still respect one another, if we are honestly holding a position. However, to attack Hilllary, then Obama, then whomever else is on the "other side" is just Republican apologetics.

I agree with your point, I have always enjoyed our conversations. I simply heard him give all the republican candidates a hard time during the primaries. Just as much so as he was speaking about the democrats. I guess I have not listened long enough to hear him say and do what you are saying. Anyway good point though.

No such word? Well there is now. I liked it so much I'm going to start using it, so its official :)
