The great irony is that these men often criticize Hollywood actors who are activists, implying that the "Hollywood Elites" should stick to entertaining. Ironically, the conservative radio show hosts are nothing more than "entertainers" themselves.
Furthermore, these men also criticize the liberals in academics whose resumes (or CV's) show their extensive commitment to understanding political matters.
Just food for thought.

We agree on something! Talk show hosts are entertainers. Most are not so good! Did you ever think that you would be an entertainer? After all, you did host a talk show at Rollins. I do not listen to any of the hosts you mention. I do listen to Michael Medved, he's not quite as egotistical as the others. Reading these blogs is far more entertaining than the talk shows. Now, if you could only find the middle of the road.....
LOL. Well, the only thing I agree with Rush Limbaugh on is that the middle of the road is for road-kill and yellow stripes!
Actually, my point is that talk show hosts are NOT just entertainers. There's a big difference between being entertaining and entertainment. They push an agenda day in and day out and then cop-out of all responsibility (since they are often empicrically, provably wrong) by saying "oh, it's only entertainment."
Never mind the fact they mislead in some cases millions of people... it's all good fun, right?
I did a talk show, but I had the moxy to say I was an activist pushing my agenda. I wish they were so forthcoming, but then deception is their craft.
